But this was giving erotic novel and I won’t complain because it was done too well. I enjoyed the scene where she takes him to wrigley field. Mmc already had it bad for her but he realized that she paid attention to him and that there was a deeper connection than just physical. I loved that FMC was poc and when talking about her body he referenced things that were accurate to poc bodies

Mmc does one final fight which leads to drama and the crash out. FMC shows up tells him what happened, he wins and they live hea. There was no epilogue which I would’ve liked but I didn’t like that I didn’t have to read about the fight. In the end I was pleasantly surprised. The pining was top tier and the spice was hot. This one probably couldn’t been a little longer

There’s a lot of tension and they finally hook up on multiple occasions with it slowly escalating. Mmc is putting it down way better than bro ever did so FMC falls hard. They get each other but have to hide their relationship because of the family. His other bros are on to them but don’t say anything. FMC crashes out on mom in law in defense of mmc and confesses her love

Mmc is also mma fighter but retired after bro died and mom blames him. FMC lives with the hubbys parents and mom in law is clinging to her as last connection to son. Mmc helped get FMC out of depression after bro death and she now works at mmc tattoo shop. Mmc has secretly crushed on FMC for years, says he saw her first and had intended to make a move but bro did first

I loved this book. This is everything I want a romance where the mmc has been pining for FMC for years while she is with someone else. In this case his brother, hey I can get past that lol. The only thing it missed was a bit more jealousy and possessive scenes from mmc but I can live without it. FMC hubby died from brain aneurysm bursting while in mma fight
