Status Updates From Adventures in Online Dating

Super cute so far. I don't read contemporary romances often, but when I do I prefer them to be this sort: you know pretty close to the start of the book who the couple is going to be, you know that everything's going to turn out okay in the end, and you like the characters. I guess it's basically a "cozy romance" (similar to a cozy mystery).

There was something missing for me. I liked Marshall but didn't always like Alexa. I found her hard to relate to despite having things in common with her. I also found her personality especially dry and rigid at the beginning of the story. The reasons for her rules made sense but the rules themselves didn't.
