Status Updates From The Lucky Ones

Disappointed here. Ninah is the worst protagonist this author has ever created. Hateful. What she says others do to her she is the one actually doing. She hates people with different opinions. She’s just too self righteous that’s annoying to read.

It saddens me that this book has no room for gray in terms of politics and beliefs.
All liberals are good people and all conservatives are bad people. That’s what its message says. It does leave room for hatred from the queer who read it toward any other opinion that is not the same as theirs. Shame.

Finally some interesting parts, like the baseball business Britt is trying to manage for her dad.

I’m finding this book pretty offensive and politically misguiding. Won’t keep hopes up.

So far, not good. I’m pleased with Carly and Justine’s appearance right from The House of Sandstone, but I just don’t enjoy the activism theme. Not my cup of tea at all.
