Rereading this piece, after reading for the first time sometime last year. Aimee always holds a place in my heart. She's one of those few authors that are on my "always read" list, no matter what they write because she's never disappointed me. Some of her books may drag but she always makes it better at the end.
And rereading this book doesn't even change my stand on how wonderful she pens these stories.

Too much religion. Too much of the “Golden Boy” nickname.

Let me start by saying, Why????? these erotic covers to what looks like a very deep book. It cheapens it - really. Never judge a book by its cover, but when I keep seeing books with naked 8-packed shaved men, I directly stereotype it as erotica, smut, unedited cheap indie. Guilty as charged, but can't help it. Please authors stop it. You don't need sex to lure readers, we are already converted.
