I feel I can't say anything other than "fun romp" or "twisty characters" without ruining half the fun. Lyrically whimsical writing, great read. 5 stars.

The Word Thrower

This one was a more contemporary/alt history story. Fun without the over the top danger that teen/pre teen MCs are normally thrown at, but without getting rid of the high stakes. 5 stars.

Vengeance Hunter

As always, done in an evocative style. POV of a vampire was cool to read, especially since all of the senses were written in depth. 5 stars.

The Wolf at the Door

Great short story. A couple of good twists, perfect for the length. 5 stars.

Gynoid was an interesting look at humanity and the importance of free will—I really liked the inclusion of an explicitly Christian character. That doesn’t happen often enough, in my opinion.
