the mc keeps complaining about his parents but has yet to give any reason of why they had a bad relationship like it’s all about how he wanted to do what he wanted to do. The author didn’t flesh this out at all the mc just seems Whiney and petty. My biggest gripe is that he’s been away from home like 9 years or something and he’s keeps commenting on the privilege & itchiness as if he didn’t grow up rich af
