Mr. Yip is the person I needed to explain why comfortable spaces feel comfortable. He advocates for less is more and for decluttered spaces. “Use Restraint”. He says he isn’t a minimalist but he is my brand of minimal. Have things that bring joy and design your spaces to work for you not the other way around.

I usually flip through design books quickly, make a few mental notes and move on but with this book, I feel like I am truly taking a class. I am making notes. I am trying things and interacting with the guidance. It's great so far!
