I am loving this, his writing style is so approachable and calculated. I unfortunately relate to Nekhlúdoff and a lot of his sentiments on life. Very much enjoying this so far.

It is very hard to put this book down quite honestly. Its characters feel so real and the backstories for Maslova and Nekhlyudov have been quite heart wrenching but beautifully written. I fuck with this big time.

I really do admire how descriptive Tolstoy is. He takes such great pride in delicately setting each scene while also describing each character so much so that you can picture them.
