¿Cómo puede ser que Herman Hesse en 1919 puediera escribir mi historia? Existen dos opciones, tiene el poder de leer mentes, al igual que Demian, o bien, el ser humano es un enmarañado conjunto de particularidades pero que se rigen por un mismo orden en todos los casos. La primera opción no deja de ser una capacidad elevada de percibir e interpretar la segunda.
