Status Updates From Weird Bristol

I finished another walk in this book the other day, but then got distracted by the Clifton Suspention Bridge Museum and the fact that you can book tours in the vaults under the bridge! Anyone want to come with me?!

I did half of another tour in this book when in Bristol the day before yesterday, but I kept getting so distracted by other things to read about that it took me longer. This is no bad thing as I have been learning a lot about the city which is exactly what I set out to do!

Three walks down, it's fun walking around Bristol with this book, it's like a scavenger hunt to find these quirky sites of interest and I've learnt and uncovered a lot! I'm back in Somerset at the moment but next time I'm in Bristol I'll continue my walking tour of Weird Bristol!

I love the format of this book, it is based on self guided walks around Bristol pointing out interesting history along the way, really interesting and I've found stuff I never would have noticed on my own! His instructions to get to the next spot could be clearer though, I'm trying not to rely on Google maps so I could repeat these tours on my own
