Status Updates From The Best American Poetry 1999

I might end up being wrong, but thisnis on track to be the GOAT 🐐 of the series for me.

Bly is throwing a heater so far. I haven't read a poem I find mediocre in the batch yet.

So far, so good. Thus far, Robert Bly's anthological sensibilities and poetic taste align with my own.

Moving along, albeit slowly. So far okay, but not too special; maybe it'll pick up.

Working through the intro; I'll be writing a lot this summer, so I will try to read one poem from here a day until I finish it--more or less--since it's always good to read poetry when you're writing poetry.
