This is quite different from the authors usual style. Very creepy and it made me cry

// That’s what happens when you don’t suspect women … When you’re a fucking idiot and are more willing to suspect your best friend in the entire world over the woman standing beside you!! IT’S HER!!!!!

// Someone wrote something on the mirror with a substance and you as a police officer just rubbed it with your finger… Are you fucking stupid or what? You’re a police officer, you should know better! There should be fingerprints and you just compromised the evidence!!

~ You’re a police officer for heaven’s sake, really!?! Then again this is so telling!!

// If severe justice is not served here and we don’t get a clear and solid resolution and we don’t find out exactly what kind a resolution that is in terms of criminally prosecuting the criminal, I am not going to give this book a favourable rating!! I am already leaning toward disliking this book, but if that doesn’t happen and there’s no resolution or closure, this book will suffer in ratings for it!!

// I really really really hope that the criminal ends up in jail for life ... stalking, animal abuse, murder, attempted murder … Fucking hell that that person is psychotic, and I hope that person ends up in jail for life!! Life as in never ever seeing the light of day outside of prison grounds!!

// HOLY SHIT!!! So as I mentioned before I skipped to the end to see who ends up with who and who is the actual culprit and I was 100% absolutely right! I didn’t want to spoil too much for myself so I didn’t read what the end result was in that sense, but I really really really hope that this author puts the criminal through the paces in that justice prevails and then that culprit gets smacked hard by the lot!!

// I know I’m throwing a lot of F-bombs around but this book is pissing me off like nobody’s business!!!

And now that I know that he is a love interest it makes what Remington just said to Cassius even that much more despicable and disgusting! This author just completely obliterated and destroyed the potential of ever rooting for these guys!! I’m pissed!!

// I skipped all the way to the end just to see who Cassius ends up with and surprise surprise it’s who I thought he was going to end up with, just because it’s so obvious!! I get that this author is going to extremes to paint Remington in a very unflattering light so that we suspect him, but it just comes across as really fucking odd and obnoxious!!

// And Cassius and Keaton have been established as some sort of couple when what that doesn’t even make any freaking sense!! Like NONE!!

// I mean absolutely no offence, but this type of book is definitely not this authors forte unless of course this is this author’s first book, in which case it’s kind of understandable but still not her forte!! This book is so incredibly cringe worthy,! And to that end Cassius talks about being creepy when his thoughts about Alex come across as incredibly creepy!!

// And Cassius doesn’t think that Keaton and Hanna are fucking weirdos?!? Since he likes to mock and judge so much, I find it hilarious that he doesn’t find their behaviour insanely weird and suspicious!!
This story is so two dimensional and there’s absolutely no substance to these characters at all so far!!

// I don’t know what this author is doing here right now but she’s creating a severely unlikeable character in Cassius!! He’s pissing me off with his judgemental and mocking attitude towards Remington … Who the fuck is he to judge who Remington is and who the fuck does he think he is mocking something or somebody he doesn’t even know and doesn’t understand?!? I want to smack Cassius so hard right now!!
