This is not it. It’s still only chapter 3, and the story so far is just them complaining about each other and acting irrationally. Yet the people around them are already convinced that the two have some kind of romantic spark. This feels ridiculous from the start.

Oh yeah, I hope I have the patience to deal with this troublesome pretending heroine. 🗿 I’m still wondering why she was the one assigned to protect the hero when it’s starting to look like the hero is actually the one protecting her.
Lol. I’m confused.

Thank God that was just the heroine acting. I hope she’s not actually that annoying. Lol. Well, her mission worked.

Well, it just occurred to me—why didn’t she find a guardian to protect her instead of one who might actually get rid of her?🗿

I don’t like the heroine being this dramatic. Help. I hope I can make it through the rest of the book

Is the writing GOOD? No. Does it ever show instead of tell? Not even once. Are there full chapters of nothing but dialogue, and the dialogue is SO cliche and poorly written that it reads like the writing of a middle school essay? Yes. Is it sometimes even hard to tell whose perspective we’re reading? Yes. Is it insta love? Yes. But I’ll be damned if it’s not fast paced and sort of interesting!
