Must be a new record for pissing me off. "There was once an inn that sat peacefully along the Thames" - proceeds to talk about ad nauseum every pub except that one. "There were a great many inns [...] and you could get drunk in all of them." As opposed to all those pubs where drinking is frowned on. This is going to be one of those time-wasting dragging out a "mystery" for 250+ pages books isn't it?
