I really wanna DNF this because it switched HARD and has a weird rape-y vibe happening. But I’m trying to not DNF books I start this year so hopefully this improves

Writing style is very jumpy (Not sure if this was the popular style of writing in the late 80s?) but am loving this so far. I’ve just gotten bored of romances written today they seem to have the same “formula” so this is a nice change.

I have allowed my mother to choose my final book of 2025 (aka the first quarter of the century) I trust her judgment and she said the love interest is a knight so my hopes are high!
