A topic I think I will find forever fascinating… a great entry into “Cook Studies” I think, so far as I can tell (and despite some clunky areas). Interesting musings. More in a full review when I actually finish the book, so back to reading I suppose.

Funny that I (completely accidentally) started reading this on the 14th of February, the anniversary of Cook’s death in Hawaii.
