Status Updates From WWJD and Other Poems

I just finished and was sad, not because it feels complete but because I love all of the poems so much. Y’all should read this. All of you.

I would love this book of poems even if I weren’t friends with Savannah since our first intro to creative writing class in college. I would love it even if I didn’t have Appalachian roots. It’s so good, full of so many incredible lines. There’s a lot of violence here. And so much sass—and vulnerability, too. I would love these poems even if I didn’t love Savannah, but I love these poems even more because of that.
