Status Updates From There There

There There is a well written modern tragedy that reveals the interrelatedness of human experience. Its level of realism compels a sadness hard to release.

I first read this in 2018 for a grad seminar in Native Lit. However, rather than reading to enjoy it, I skimmed it in order to be able to discuss it for class, since we had to read 1-2 books per class per week. One of my creative writing profs used to say "you never get your first read back"... I resent that my first read of this was a skim, but I'm happy to be reading it on ndn time now.
