This is a whistle-stop tour of geopolitics, but, to ground it, references physical geography a couple of quite unconvincing times per chapter. Certainly not a bad book and I’m thoroughly enjoying it, but the whole geography and maps part is such a minor part and feels rushed into the end of a point sometimes.

This is one of the most disastrous reads ever! Oh my I have so much to say about this book! Just y’all wait! I’m so mad I wasted my money on this! I was so excited thinking it would be something else entirely! If you are history nerd like I am you would have at least one moment in each chapter while reading this book as your proceed to scream on top of your lungs: LIES, PROPAGANDA, MICRO AGRESSION, HYPOCRISY… .

Great a little hard for beginners but not that hard definitely suitable for anyone interested in geopolitics to get a start and an overview
