DNFing. This was Capote's first novel, semi-autobiographical, that he wrote at age 23. While I am in awe of his writing at such a young age, this just isn't the book for me. I love southern set novels, but the characters remind me a bit of many you'll find in Flannery O'Connor novels....cartoonish and eccentric. I did really like the main char, a 13 yr old boy. He felt like a real person in feelings/actions.

Todo lo que he leído de Truman Capote me ha encantado. Espero que siga la racha con su primera novela.
