Status Updates From Dirty Laundry: You're My Li...

This is my first read by this author and will not be the last. I can’t believe what Rah did to Meech! Payback is a must!

The STRUGGLE...NIGGA!!! I have less than 10% left and I still can't find the desire to pick this back up.

Plot twist, D, aka Meechie is alive. The best part of this whole fucking book. But how was he talking and screaming if his throat was slit. If he was bleeding to the point where he was thought to be dead and his jugular wasn't severed, something was damaged and he wasnt talking

So now, big fucking random pointless ass reveal...Big D is Rahs father. So he didn't kill his best friend for literally no reason. He killed his brother. So we're just throwing shit in the mix just to have something to mix.

Rah is running around aimlessly doing dumb shit with no rhyme or reason. What's his motivation and what's his goal? He makes no fucking sense.

I'm debating whether or not to read part 2 just because I wonder if any of this shit gets tied up. If I have to pay the debate will be over though.

I really want this to be over. Why the fuck do I care about Capo the cleanup man? He was Demetrius fathers best friend. So what. Which of the thousand plots that have been introduced is the muthafuckin plot? Is it Rah killing Demetrius? Is it Delmar and Kiana being siblings? Is it Aunt Faye and her connection to Kiana and Delmar's father? Is it the bitch Delmar was fucking setting him up to rob him? Which one?

I'm getting there. This shit is hard though.

Delmar had to go through his mental roller deck. I need to speed through this shit. I hate this book. What the fuck is it about anyway? Which of the numerous plots that have been introduced is the focal point of this fucking book?

Mad run on sentences, switching tense. And as of yet I don't really care about any of these people. Why did Rah kill Demetrius? Was it jealousy or to get out of the trouble with Delmar? Why then completely avoid Delmar? Why does Aunt Faye have a first person perspective?

The beginning of Rah's chapter he's in a funk and is debating about how killing his friend affected him. Now at Aunt Faye's he feels no guilt.

I am STRUGGLING! Who edited this fucking book?

When you're using past tense it's BEGAN, not begin. "I walked into the room and begin to pack my duffle" is WRONG. It's goines be walked and began or walk and begin.

I'm struggling

So an old woman in the projects is just going to assume the boy is who he days he is and is going to give him the spare, having never seen the real boy before? I'm trying to figure out if that would really happen. It might, but not in the projects.

First Kiana called her Ms. Faye, then she called her Aunt Faye. First Delmar had an Audi, then he had a Charger.

She was badder than a 3 year old? I don't like that.

"If you lie you'll steal and if you steal you'll kill". That's the stupidest phrase I've ever heard. I've always hated it.

But why would Delmar warn Rah about lying to him using that phrase when he watched Rah kill somebody? His best friend at that. That don't make sense.

I'm mad already. And confused. So the best friend took him to these niggas so HE could kill him? Ion like it.
