Despite the cover and the blurb, this book is a pleasant surprise and not really quite as dark as I was expecting. I’ve been waiting for everyone to betray one another but the princes are, like, best friends and they just sent Raine’s abusive older brother packing.

My one complaint is that there are literally no women or girls in this book. I think the first mention of a women is almost at the 50% mark. 😐
