Status Updates From Paper Chains

Sun 042725 - 36 ORD Dining Table - I just enjoyed reading the rest of this lovely novel. What a poignant story & joy to read even though it was very heartbreaking as well at points. I had a lovely long visit this morning w/my dear friend Merijha who took me to Rock Springs for the first time & we walked a 5K+ together, then had a long visit over coffee at Coffee Run 121. So happy God crossed our paths!

Sun 042725 - 36 ORD - I read a lot more in bed last night before going to sleep after Larry & I returned home from our grocery shopping at Kroger’s after our dinner at Culver’s. I was feeling so tired sitting at dinner after all our activities. Shopping boosted my energy. The story in this book is really good & interesting…I was almost ready to push to the end last night. I will finish for fun today.

Sat 042625 - 36 ORD in bed - It’s felt good to lay down to relax & read, especially w/Stitch snuggled up against me w/his head on my chest & paws extended on my face & my legs up. We had a lovely visit with Wayne & went to the park near our house to play Pickleball together for the first time. Such fun!! We are going out for dinner then grocery shopping together. Gorgeous spring day, more lovely birdsong.

Sat 042625 - 36 ORD - Chaise in our living room overlooking Lake Decatur w/Stitch nestled on my lap - I’m starting to feel so sleepy that I might need a little nap today, Wayne just stopped over to visit w/Larry. We went for a 5+ mile walk after breakfast this morning around Basin 2. We paused partway to enjoy watching some geese w/their goslings. Super cute! This story is still really good.

Sat 042625 - 36 ORD - We’ve enjoyed having a quiet Saturday morning so far & a long visit over breakfast. This book is SO GOOD - perhaps one of my favorites of all the books I’ve read by the Moriarty sisters so far. Certainly is highlighting how important it is to communicate & be open about your feelings & what is really going on, as well as being able to ask for help. I know that can be hard. Heartbreaking…

Fri 042525 - 36 ORD at Dining Table - Buzz & Stitch are nestled nearby in their hammock chairs & it’s still raining softly outside. This book is SO GOOD, & fun to immerse myself in this latest fictional novel. I love Nicola’s writing as much as her sister Liane’s so far. The character development is excellent & the story is mysterious. Current chapters about becoming a new mother bring back memories for me.

Thurs 042425 - 36 ORD green couch w/Buzz - I just enjoyed relaxing & reading after dinner w/Larry. We had fun visiting about how his first work day w/Lowe’s went. Beautiful day out there - I got out for a nice walk after I had my Crossing Board interview which went really well. It’s been a really good day. Summer already feels right around the corner w/today reaching low 80s. I enjoyed fresh air w/house open.
