We really are about to freaking do this? Seriously that is where you draw the line? FOR A RABBIT?! Also I’m going to forcefully forget about that kiss. Never happened, never occurred.

Also, I see the “love” Alice’s has for Hatcher in the sense of saviour love (also mentioned explicitly in the book) but idk how I feel turned around. I truly don’t want it lead to a romantic relationship. Don’t care if they make each other worse just let it be platonic.

Now I understand my confusion. The book even says it: “her body had grown older but her mind was still trapped at sixteen, still unsure of how to at or how to be.” I read her young because of how she acted and portrayed herself but not because she was herself.

I’m a bit loss in terms of age because I thought Alice was a minor or freshly out of her teens. I searched it up and got a massive spoiler in the process, but she may as well be 26. I need a sec to adjust to the change. Let there be partners in crime (platonic), nothing else.

Please don’t be age gap, PLEASE LET THERE BE NO AGE GAP. Hatcher i truly imagine you as a grown fucking adult, and some of the things you sputter are concerning. All of you are out of your minds. Also still kinda enjoyed Cheshire’s character (even if it’s still dark as hell).

It’s dark. As in DARK DARK. I read Lost Boy by the same author and while I did expect the darkness, there is more in this first pages. I don’t mind tho. It’s good to read again though it took me a while to get into the flow…
