I don't like the way it's written whatsoever. I understand that this is an adolescent's "expression" and all that, but you can't have students read this in high school? What if they believe this is how you should write in French? With all the anglicisms and québecisms? Unless, in French class, you discuss these words and expressions being used and suggest others that the author could have written... I guess...?
