Status Updates From The Mina Scarletti Mystery ...

I'm really trying to like this book but so far the storyline is slow and I'm having trouble staying interested. It has all the potential to be a good historical paranormal mystery. The book explores the rise in fashion of the séance and spiritual mediums of the mid 19th century in Britain. The problem is that the story has been built up but we are going nowhere. I'll keep trying for now.

Delightful. Something like if Jane Austen wrote about Brighton in the 1870s.
