The prologue...that's the story I was hoping for. But that's not the story. At least not yet. While I like Gwen, this is dragging on. We're finally meeting her family. If the threat of war was as great as stated, why wouldn't there be a gathering to discuss pro-active measures? How is this book fantasy? Just because it takes place in another "world"?
