I couldn't help myself with another re read of this one it's my comfort book when I'm down

This isn't a good romance. There has been no chemistry or connection between Declan and the heroine beyond Declan saying sorry to the heroine one million times in a million ways and berating the mc club for what happened to her in these long monologues over and over again.

What's crazy to me is I think Declan is the love interest. Why is the author having him be the one doing all the grovelling? He was overseas when the shit went down. It wasn't his fault. Maybe this is me being used to reading about anti H's but I think it should've been Jay being the one to do all the grovelling. His redemption arc would've been a more interesting story.

so.much.talking. I want everyone to shut up and do something. This is ridiculous.
