idk how i feel about this plot twist but ugh do i adore caven

This book has me so stressed. But I also think I figured out the ending during the prologue. Still enjoying it so much though.

Noooo the pacing got jacked up in this book when it was so on point in book 1. And the dialogue is getting repetitive with them going over the same thing over and over. Yes everyone is very traumatized yes thank you we know.

this whole start right here could have been their true start if she hadn't ever lied to him

listen...i feel for "hadley"/willow (whatever you wanna call her), but honestly, like, come the fuck on! things probably would have gone easier for her with caven if she wasn't trying to be hadley in the first place! like, he clearly despised hadley for taking off, so if she would have come in as HERSELF! and explained just finding out about the baby, caven probably wouldn't have given her as many issues

and the penny drops...

well it'll be interesting to see how willow/"hadley" turns this shitshow around
