Started this one due to a fb group post in regards to book 2 being released in a few days. Not going to lie.. i wasnt sure what to expect. Enjoyed the first 20% a lot! But now im kinda feeling meh about the plot. Definitelygoing to hang on a bit longer as i want to see where it all goes.

Stopped reading it. Didn't like it

The last 48 hours have been soul crushing so I am trying to cheer myself up with this book which is just not working well.

Ugh what an awful name Tourmaline. Clearly her mother worked in crystallography. I had the misfortune of sitting through a “short” lecture on this type of science & I’ll never forget I spent the entire time debating my escape. Sadly I was sitting in the front row & didn’t want to attract attention. I sat through 45 minutes of this painful & imo useless science. Worst lecture ever!!
