For once I won’t read the blurbs for the next books

This book however was meh
Two and a half stars
It was so slow
Not a fan of the writing style
The plot was boring and dragged
The sex scenes were yawn inducing
I barely care about the characters

But I’m in too deep now not to keep reading
And that damn cliffhanger

??? Somehow I made it to the end

Thinking this entire time it was a standalone

That’s just fucking embarrassing
Not just bc it’s a shitty book that has all the wrong info and messages
but mostly
Why any author would reference other actual books in their works

It’s fucking cringe
At best

And at the very least it’s just unappealing

I’m like nine pages in and the amount of times the word truck has been used makes me want to puke

I’m assuming it’s in place of the word fuck

Which is annoying enough
But the repetition is infuriating
