Status Updates From The Wheat Princess

Yeah, I’m really loving this again.

I'm struggling to get into this one. Not because it's a bad story -- on the contrary, I'm intrigued by the Italian setting and feel the early inklings of a story I might very well love -- but I'm just not in the right headspace right now, maybe? I'm going to set it aside for a bit and start over with fresh eyes (and more mental bandwidth!). :-)

Whaaaat. I mean, I'm not saying that it wasn't clear since page one that these two will end up together, but this guy was pretty mean to her even though he knew she didn't deserve that meaness. He's not exactly being kind now either. 🌚🌚🌚

Marcia is rather hard to like. She's shallow, and I'd rather not have that shallowness removed because of the hero's intervention. Imagine if being shallow guaranteed you a hero.

I hope Marcia experience some character growth soon.
