We're 19% through and we've discovered the supernatural secret of the town and its founder and we're already on to mystery #2!

You are not alone in your "wait, what?" feeling. I feel like I've already read the book from the description--short and rushed as it was--and have already started the second in the series. There was even enough info crammed in there for a whole book!

I'm so confused.

Only just finished chapter 5, so no judgement yet, but I get the feeling things are supposed to feel pretty suspenseful right now and I'm just...not feeling it. Maybe it's the pacing? It's like we're supposed to be weirded out and highly suspicious about all the weird stuff going on, but it's been much more dinner-and-wake-the-dead with the Addams than small-town-with-a-nasty-secret with Sam and Dean.

Don't mind me, this is just a note the hook ending of chapter two was great!

...have yet to fall in love with the main character, however.

Just received my ARC copy. Looking forward to reading this one!
