James Gordons chapter is workmanlike and helpful - showing how and what goes wrong when we follow an EFS method. A careful demolition of Gons and Naselli.

Graham Cole (who is one of my favorite modern systematicisns not least because he’s gracious) offers a careful and clear chapter. Definitely one to read as a group I think.

Stephen Holmes chapter is typically clear, scholarly and thorough. It is also pretty damning.

McClean on Pannenberg workmanlike and helpful. An amusing misgendering of a theologian made me giggle.

Jules A. Martinez-Olivieri’s chapter is superb. Demonstrates both what’s at stake and where EFS is doing something very bad. A highlight of the book.

Jeff Fisher on the reformed scholastics is superb. And pretty clear!

T. Robert Baylor’s chapter is excellent and makes me want to go read more Owen. A robust Defence of the sovereign freedom of the Son contra EFS - by carefully reading the work of someone sometimes deployed to support EFS.

Tyler Wittman’s chapter on authority in God is well worth reading and shows the value of the scholastics esp Aquinas for helping with our present theological questions!

Amy Brown Peeler’s chapter on Nysa is ‘chefs kiss’

Leithart’s chapter is excellent.

Ian Paul’s chapter (on revelation) is excellent and robust. A solid reading of revelation through the question of the equality of the godhead.

Peelers chapter on Hebrews is excellent.

Chapters by Akala (John) and Pierce (1 Cor.) both good.

Bird’s intro is great fun. This is going to be a worthwhile book.
