Finished "Death in Midsummer" - pretty straightforward read, yet an incredible analysis of the effects heavy grief has on people. A bit flawed (or rather unconvincing) in the representation of Masaru (the husband) as being the sentimental one, but the thoughts and actions of Tomoko (the wife) are conveyed very realistically in my opinion, which contributes to the heaviness of the story.
