I think the reason so much of this bugs me is because, well, I value realness to an extreme. If someone seems poses, unreal, without depth - based on an archetype - I cannot like or respect them. xD But for proper branding, you kind of have to be a character before you can be a person.

I'm going to do exactly what everyone I talk about my books wants me to do and save them the mental effort like so:

"Yeah, I'm an author."
"Cool! What do you write?"
"Historical novels - like Jane Austen or Downton Abbey (sidenote: almost everyone knows one of these even if it's just because they hate it!) but the social critique and drama stops sometimes."

Decided to try narrowing down an archetype even though I hate myself for it.

I was EASILY able to cross out every type but the Ordinary Girl and the Rebel.

Ordinary Rebels, anyone? ;)

Really, though, I feel like I could also be the Explorer, too. COULD be the Mentor, but I would have to kill myself.
