Probably a one-sitting-read, but I haven't got time for a full sitting. Good so far - punchy and straight to the point. Scientific aspects (lab consistuents, etc.) are very accurate - I never would have expected thin sectioning and embedding to be a topic in kid's fiction. XD

My kids 4 + 7 are loving it. They now want to make their own monster. Delightful storytelling thats easy to follow. Enough of a cliff hanger at the endnof each chapter to have my eldest asking for more.
