No wonder tumblr loves this book it’s about somebody being thrown into a social situation with a lot of rules they only half know and extreme amounts of scrutiny for even the slightest mistake or misstep, and the consequences can be deadly

omg this starts with an absolutely needless crash course in the phonetics, onomastics, morphology and pragmatics of the fictional language. If I don't end up loving this I will be so disappointed
