okay why was phoebe so desperate to be turned into a vampire when she seemingly did not consider for a singke aecond that she would need to drink human blood and hunt humans? every single vampire in the family explained things to her, shes had weeks by now to get it into her head if she didn't before she was turned i'm starting to get frustrated again. i know why she struggles, but it's still making me dislike her

god the children frustrate me. even more so does baldwin treating rebecca better than philippe because she's more vampire for now, then everyone else paying more attention to philippe because of his rotten gryffin. i do not care that it's realistic family life/ toddler twin problems... it's exhausting to read

yes phoebe's story got better, i think her anger is not what's bothering me but her arrogance. now that she got lightstruck i have hopes to like this storyline more again, because i actually preferred phoebe to marcus' past initially. now i want to read marcus and phoebe's chapters more than matthew's and dianas which is strange because at first i only read the book for them

now i've actually come to like marcus' storyline in the past the most. he's in paris, and has met ysabeau. im struggling to still like and be interested in phoebe because of her anger, where marcus as a fresh vampire was curious she's furious lol. but i am still looking forward to reading about her eventually calming down and settling into her new body and life

i had a bit of a difficult time jumping from diana in matthew now back to marcus' life as a human and then as a new wearh - i liked the mirror to phoebe's transformation though. i like all of it now that i've gotten used to it
