Status Updates From Eastside / Westside / Love

I love books that make me route for alternative endings. For example, in the hour or so that's left of this book, I am hoping the selfish, crazy white girl gets her ass dumped hard.

Underfunded and closing schools, ignoring important members of black history in schools, gentrification, and being treated poorly by church members all hit home for me. The author is also spotlighting the challenges of Interracial dating. She gets it right and doing it very well. Her characters are strong, funny and honest. So far my fav's are Kasey and Brenda. I feel like things are about to really get interesting.
