How is this “Mom’s Perfect Boyfriend” when she hasn’t spoken to or about any guy until 50% in? And even then it was just a quick chat with a stranger. I don’t understand the point of the story and the characters are sooo boring.

26% in with no clue where this story is going. Mom hasn’t even mentioned a man. Story told exclusively through texts, emails and journals of 2 sisters and their mom. Feels like I’m snooping on some boring conversations. Hope something happens soon.
