Status Updates From Vindication (Viridian Gate ...

I'm getting so frustrated with this. Glossing over the why the battles are happening cheapens the lore - I want to know what's the deal between the Imperials and the Crimson Alliance from Vlad's POV. Battles without context are dull. It feels like we're skipping bits because it's already been told in the original VGO series. Things happen just because they've already happened, so no explaination needed.

Wait wait wait. What? That kiss? Despite 0% chemistry? How does the guy get the girl so fast when they've only just met and she was only a day ago skeptical about his reasons for "knowing" her? I thought the being fine about the inn room was weird enough...

The set up for this one feels messy. Dead girl. Mafia. Somehow connected to VGO/Osmark because reasons so therefore got a free pass into the humanity survival server. All very rushed. I'm not geting the best impression of Vlad so far.
