I’ve had a lot of luck with the Reading Dynamic program. This is the first time I’ve heard Wood described as a scam. Any moron practicing the techniques can easily read several times faster and benefit as a reader. Perhaps this book is written for slow readers to justify their reading slowness?

>reading biography
>writing is of middling quality at best
>clearly lacks a historian's understanding for crafting a decent biography
>littered with assumptions and guesses
>half-assed armchair psychologizing
>google author's name
>"longtime freelancer for The New York Times"
>oh.
>no wonder it's so mediocre thus far.
