You know, I don’t think I ever appreciated sociolinguistics enough till now. It’s fascinating how culture shapes the meaning and interpretation of words and how we’re socialized to use language.

I appreciate the perspective, but this is pushing me away from feminism. Its historical context of linguistics is nice and really why i picked it up in the first place (should have done more research on reviews?), but the angry feminism tone is making it hard to read. Maybe because I prefer approaching change with the spirit of collecting a community rather than condemnation… I will push on!
