So the dialogue isn't even going to try to be realistic or natural huh? None of these relationships read as genuine except the two roommates. The dialogue is so formal and stilted and just uncanny valley. I'm enjoying the story so far but I hate when people use this overtly formal voice like the characters are bad actors in a stage play too aware of their audience. Ugh.
