Still not sure what to make of this book. The general idea is quite fascinating, but I'm struggling with the portrayal of the main character. I have yet to decide whether he's really supposed to be the "fresh breeze" kind of answer to everything or if his (as perceived by me) holier-than-thou-attitude is plain annoying. Could go either way.

With the GOP presidential nomination as tight as it could be going into the convention, all eyes turn to the Majority Leader in the Senate, who also holds control of Michigan's votes, enough to push either candidate over the threshold. Thus begun a plan that would blow the nomination wide open and all but assure a GOP victory in November. However, things are never as perfect as they seem on paper, as we shall see...

Hm. This might turn out totally different than expected - I'm curious to see where this will lead, I'm very intrigued for now.
