It was an indication of what I’d become.
The enemy.
I was a danger to myself.
To everything and everyone around me.

I knew all about the saying that if you loved something let it go, and if it came back then it was meant to be. That saying sounded like bullshit to me, which is why I came up with my own version.  If you loved someone let them go, then hunt them down and drag their ass back kicking and screaming.
