Have a bad feeling this book is gonna be slightly out of touch as it relates to class... also why does it seem like the author is going to suggest readers become influencers *gag* 🤮

An easy read so I'll see it through but definitely better books out there for someone with a nagging feeling to stray from the typical 9-5 work life.

So far so meh. Like initial motivation it and the stories of other people who didn’t “keep” their day jobs. From there it’s getting watered down and toxically positive. I am not sure how the balance is supposed to be found. I personally am designing lots to teach people embroidery, which is teaching people a skill, but the recommendation to sell courses is one that’s overdone; they feel like scams in 2026.
