Braised Leeks, sooo good! Would make an awesome easy holiday side 🍽

Made the Lighter Scalloped Potatoes last night. So delicious and yet so low calorie! I had to add a lot of salt to my portion, but others added less or none so it's nice that the only thing I didn't like about the recipe was easily customized on the plate, so that everyone could get the flavor they wanted.

Sean and I made the Grilled Cole Slaw and omg, I don't think there's a better way than this 🤤 Just as good as leftovers, too.

The cover recipe didn't work out as well as I hoped. It looked as good, but was pretty dry (as in moisture level). Next time I think I'll add more half & half to the filling.

The fried zucchini recipe is PERFECTION 💖🤤

Tried the fluffy roll recipe today; the end result was AMAZING but my surfaces (including hands) needed WAY more flour-dusting than called for. I double-checked the ingredients and it definitely wasn't me just putting too little flour in the first place. Oh well, just need to write in a note and I'll know next time 😊

Received this book from my parents for Christmas this year! I read the intro and now I've got several recipes picked out to try next week!

THERE ARE SO MANY RECIPES IN THIS BOOK!

I’m not sure that “reading” is what is typically done with cookbooks. I got this after looking at the preview sample offered on Kindle. From the first browsing I’ve given it seems like an excellent resource. I’ll give it a bit more time and offer a more complete review.
