It sounds like George is in some financial difficulty at his bank; this was heard through rumors and it came to Ross by Lord Falmouth.

I am on “book 2” out of “book 3” and I know I am taking my time with this book because it isn’t the same compared to the first 7 books. Book 8 focuses on the children which is a new perspective for the reader. It’s great to get a different perspective.

I read some reviews of this book and many people do not like Stephen. I wonder way…I just started reading the book yesterday and he is taken with Clowance Poldark’s 16 year old daughter. Stephen is 28 years old and he lied to Mrs. Poldark.
